Fuck Gaddafi

I’m really at a loss on this one, in that, I’m not quite sure what to say or how to act in reaction to this one. Its good to see that there’s lots of images, video, news getting out of the country and out on the web. I am imagine you’ve seen a lot of it already so I’m not sure weather I want to fire any more at you. Its a bit overwhelming.

I met a woman today from Afghanistan who humbled me with her stories. She had spent the first eleven years of her life living in a house with her parents and eight siblings peacefully, then one morning she awoke to panzers and soviet soldiers marching done her street. In short she got involved in protests, had to flee the country alone at 14, spent some time around, got married to a man, moved to Australia and started a charity to help woman and children in Afghanistan who really have little support. Anyway, it was really humbling to hear what this woman had been through and to see how strong she was despite it.

Uhm anyway yeah, Libya, its just yeah. If you wanna submit stuff, post in the ask box etc. go right on ahead, I may not post much just because I’ve been hit with it all day and its uhm really quite sad that the people are crying out, not just in Libya, people in Western countries are pleading for their governments to do something about it. When will it get through to these governments that words won’t cull the violence, actions will. Sitting in their high thrones and trash talking Gaddafi won’t stop him killing anymore people.
